One Listing, Several Choices: Write a Clear Variant Note

Learn a compact way to record a Weidian item ID, design option and measurements without confusing a listing with the contents of an order.

Separate the listing from the selection

A source ID identifies the seller listing. Your choice inside that listing needs more detail. Write a note in the form “source ID / option label / size / quantity”. The catalogue record number helps locate a page here, but it is the Weidian itemID in the source URL that identifies the external listing.

Use an example with two designs

Imagine a cover showing both a dark shirt and a light shirt. Saving the cover plus “size M” leaves the colour undecided. Copy the actual option label and, if needed, save a screenshot for your own records. Do the same for a jersey with several teams or printing choices. One listing can represent alternatives; the picture does not establish the number of pieces in a purchase.

Add a measurement that matters

For clothing, add the relevant garment measurement and the units from the available size chart. Compare it with a garment you already own, measured the same way. If the chart describes body measurements instead, label that distinction in your note. A number without a measurement method is easy to misread.

Reconcile disagreements before checkout

If a translated title, option label and picture point to different versions, keep the selection unresolved. Ask the provider a specific question that includes the source link and option label. Revisit the final selected option after any answer or page reload; a note from an earlier visit is a reference, not confirmation of the current selection.
