List the items you intend to send
Make a dispatch note with each order reference, selected variant and quantity. Reconcile that list with the provider’s current order status and any evidence for your own items. Resolve a missing piece or variant question before treating the planned contents as settled. A directory entry does not tell you whether an order is ready.
Record the inputs behind each quote
Write down the destination and the parcel information used for the estimate, including weight or dimensions when requested by the provider. Date the quote. If you later change the contents or packaging, request a corresponding quote instead of assuming the earlier amount still applies. Do not post private address information in public product notes.
Compare like-for-like delivery information
Put the quoted amount, currency, stated inclusions, tracking information and delivery estimate alongside each option. Leave an unspecified term blank and ask the provider about it. A cheaper number with a different parcel basis or an unclear included charge is not yet a like-for-like comparison. Treat a delivery estimate as an estimate, not a promised arrival date from this directory.
Keep the final decision traceable
After choosing an option, retain the confirmed amount, parcel reference and the provider’s instructions. Save the tracking reference when it becomes available and direct shipment-specific questions to the platform or carrier responsible. The purpose of the dispatch note is to preserve what you agreed and the inputs used, so later questions can be specific rather than reconstructed from memory.
